 Equine Sports Massage Sports Massage for the horse - all the same effects and benefits as for a human athlete. It promotes health and fitness and helps keep the horse supple, sound and injury free. 'Issy' received pre and post event massage to help her complete a 50 mile endurance competition. Massage can help to identify small complaints and treat them before they become serious concerns. It will help to increase the horse's flexibility, power, endurance and recovery rate, therefore enhancing potential performance.
